Isokorigari is a multivendor online marketplace in Rwanda where shop owners, wholesalers, importers, distributors, manufacturers, farmers and service companies sell to families, businesses, hotels, schools, offices, NGOs and government buyers. Thousands of products are already listed, and buyers can pay with MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, card or cash on delivery where available. So how do you make sure your shop gets the orders? Here are seven tips that work.

1. List from the master catalogue first

Isokorigari keeps one master catalogue. Before you create a product, search the catalogue (and the website) for it. If the same product already exists, with the same name, brand, model and size, do not create a new one. Open the existing product and add it to your store by filling your own selling details:

• your price and stock;
• minimum order quantity and condition;
• your SKU, delivery/shipping profile, warranty and return information.

Your offer then shows on your shop page and in the marketplace, under the existing category, as one of the "more sellers" offers. Buyers see one clean product page instead of ten duplicates, and your offer is easy to compare. Only if the product truly does not exist should you create or request a new product; the admin team reviews it. If no fitting category exists, send a Category Request; for a missing brand, send a Brand Request.

2. Price clearly and offer wholesale prices

All prices on Isokorigari are in Rwandan francs (Rwf). Buyers compare offers, so set a fair, clear price. Many buyers on Isokorigari are businesses buying in bulk, so add wholesale (bulk) prices and a sensible minimum order quantity. B2B buyers can also use the "Request for Quote" (RFQ) button for big orders: answer RFQs quickly with a clear quote and delivery details, and you can win large orders from hotels, schools and offices.

3. Use real, sharp product photos

4. Write titles and descriptions buyers search for

Put the brand, model and size in the product title, and add the Kinyarwanda name in brackets, for example "Rice 25kg (Umuceri)". Fill the specifications and product options (colour, size, storage, volume, weight, pack size, tile size...). A buyer in Kigali who searches "cement 50kg" or "amakaro" must find your product.

5. Process orders fast and keep stock up to date

When an order arrives in your seller dashboard, confirm it, pack it well, ship it and mark it shipped and then delivered. Delivery covers Kigali and all provinces of Rwanda; delivery prices depend on the rates set by the transport companies, the region (Kigali or province), the weight and size of the order, and other factors, so set your shipping profile correctly (see the Shipping & Delivery policy). Keep your stock numbers correct: nothing loses a customer faster than an order for a product you no longer have.

6. Earn trust with badges, reviews and a complete shop

Complete your shop profile: shop name, logo, banner, description, policies, shipping profile and payout details. Trusted sellers can show badges such as Verified, Top Seller, Wholesaler, Made in RW, Fast Ship, COD or Warranty. Ask happy customers to leave a product review and rating. A shop with good reviews and clear return and cancellation rules sells more.

7. Use promotions and share your shop

Isokorigari runs coupons such as WELCOME10 (10% off a first order from Rwf 20,000, max Rwf 10,000) and BULK5 (5% off from Rwf 200,000 for B2B buyers), plus seasonal codes like BLACKFRIDAY15 and FESTIVE7 (conditions apply and may change). Products can carry ribbons such as Hot Deal, New, Sale, Flash Sale or Few Left. Share your product links on WhatsApp, Facebook and TikTok so your existing customers can order online.
