How to Shop on Isokorigari: Search, Compare Sellers, Check Out and Track Your Order

This complete guide shows you how to shop on Isokorigari.com, from searching and filtering to choosing options, comparing sellers, checking out and following your order.

Before you start

Isokorigari is a multivendor online marketplace in Rwanda, so the same product can be sold by several sellers. That is good news: you can compare and choose the best offer. First, create an account or sign in so you can save addresses, follow orders and earn reward points.

Step 1: Find what you need

There are three easy ways to find products:

• Search bar: type the product name, brand or model, for example "rice 25kg", "LED bulb" or "ceramic tiles". Product names are in English with Kinyarwanda in brackets, so you can search in either language, such as "Rice (Umuceri)".
• All Categories menu: open All Categories and go down from the department (for example Agriculture, Food & Beverage or Consumer Electronics) to the exact category.
• Header menus: Physical (physical goods), Digital (digital products), Services and Classifieds.

Popular shortcuts: Electronics & Appliances, Phones, Rice, flour & staples, Fresh fruits & vegetables, Tiles, Ready meals and all products.

Step 2: Use filters to narrow results

On a results page, use the filters to show only what fits you, such as category, brand, price range and product options like colour or size. Sort the list to see the lowest price or the newest items first. Look out for ribbons like Hot Deal, Sale, Flash Sale, New, Bestseller and Few Left.

Step 3: Read the product page carefully

Each product page tells you a lot. Check:

• Price in Rwf and any special price.
• Minimum order quantity: some products must be bought in a minimum number of units.
• Wholesale (bulk) prices: many products get cheaper per unit when you buy more.
• Product options: colour, size, storage, volume, weight, pack size, tile size and more. Pick the right option before adding to cart.
• Specifications: technical details such as model, material or power.
• Reviews and ratings from other buyers.
• Related products and "frequently bought together" items, useful for adding what goes with your purchase.

Step 4: Compare sellers

Isokorigari keeps one master catalogue, so one product page can show offers from "more sellers". Compare:

• Price and wholesale price
• Stock and minimum order quantity
• Condition (for example new)
• Warranty and return information
• Shipping options and cost to your location
• Seller badges such as Verified, Top Seller, Wholesaler, Made in RW, Fast Ship, Same Day, COD and Warranty
• Seller rating and reviews

The cheapest offer is not always the best. A Verified seller with good reviews and clear return info is often the safer choice.

Step 5: Buying in bulk? Ask for a quote

Businesses, hotels, schools, NGOs and government buyers often need large quantities. Use the Request for Quote (RFQ) button in the header to ask sellers for a bulk or B2B price. Read the Buyer Guide & Wholesale for tips.

Step 6: Add to cart

1. Choose your option and quantity.
2. Click add to cart. You can keep shopping and add items from different sellers.
3. Open your cart to check items, quantities and prices.
4. Add a coupon code if you have one, for example ISOKO2000 (Rwf 2,000 off from Rwf 30,000). Conditions apply and may change.

Step 7: Check out

1. Choose or add your delivery address in Kigali or your province.
2. Review the shipping cost. It is set by the seller and depends on your location.
3. Use reward points if you have them (2 points = Rwf 1).
4. Choose how to pay: MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, card, or cash on delivery (COD) where available.
5. Confirm your order and keep your order number.

Step 8: Track and receive your order

• Open your account to follow the status of your order as the seller confirms, packs and ships it.
• Keep your phone on so the seller or delivery partner can reach you.
• When the order arrives, check the items before accepting, especially for fragile goods like tiles or electronics.
• Delivery prices depend on the rates set by the transport companies, the region (Kigali or province), the weight and size of the order, and other factors. See Shipping & Delivery.

Step 9: After you receive it

Leave a review and rating to help other buyers. If something is wrong, read the Return & Refund policy and the Cancellation policy, or contact us.

A shopping example

Aline runs a small restaurant in Kicukiro. She searches "cooking oil 20L", filters by brand, and opens the product page. Three sellers offer it. She picks a Verified Wholesaler whose wholesale price drops when she buys five units, adds "frequently bought together" rice, applies ISOKO5000 because her cart passes Rwf 100,000, pays with MTN MoMo, and follows the order in her account until it arrives. She then leaves a review to help other buyers.

• Amahitamo: ibara, ingano, ububiko (storage), litiro, ibiro, ingano y'ipaki, ingano y'amakaro...
• Ibisobanuro bya tekiniki, ibitekerezo n'amanota y'abaguzi.

4. Gereranya abacuruzi
