Sell Kids Products, Toys, Books and School Supplies Online in Rwanda on Isokorigari

Isokorigari.com helps sellers of baby and kids products, toys, books, stationery and school supplies reach parents, schools and offices across Rwanda, with retail and wholesale in one shop.

The opportunity: families and schools buy all year

Parents in Rwanda buy diapers, baby care items, clothes, shoes and toys every month. Every school term brings a new list: exercise books, pens, school bags, uniforms, shoes, math sets and reading books. Schools, nurseries and offices also buy stationery and learning materials in large quantities.

Busy parents do not always have time to visit many shops before school opens. Isokorigari is a multivendor online marketplace in Rwanda where they can find everything in one place, compare sellers and order for delivery in Kigali or in their province. For you, it means a shop that is open day and night and visible across the country.

The departments that fit your products

Shops are organised by the categories they sell in. Use the "All Categories" menu and choose the right department:

• Parents, Kids & Toys: baby care, feeding, strollers, baby carriers, educational toys, dolls, puzzles, outdoor toys and games.
• Books: children's books, story books, textbooks, revision books and books for adults.
• School & Office Supplies: exercise books, pens, pencils, crayons, math sets, calculators, files, paper and classroom materials.
• Apparel & Accessories (incl. Uniforms & Workwear): school uniforms and children's clothing.
• Shoes & Accessories: school shoes, sandals and sports shoes for kids.
• Luggage, Bags & Cases: school bags and backpacks.
• Sports & Entertainment and Arts, Crafts & Sewing: balls, games, drawing and craft materials.

If no category fits, send a Category Request; if your brand is missing, send a Brand Request. The admin team approves both.

What parents and schools look for

• Safety and quality: clear material information and the age a toy or product is suitable for.
• Clear photos and honest descriptions.
• Product options: size, colour and pack size (for example a pack of 12 exercise books or a box of pens).
• Prices in Rwf, with wholesale prices for schools and resellers.
• Trust signals: Verified, Quality, Best Price, Fast Ship, Women-Led and Made in RW badges, plus product reviews and ratings.
• Payment by MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, card, and cash on delivery where available.
• Delivery across Kigali and to all provinces. Time and cost depend on the seller and the location (see the Shipping & Delivery policy). Back-to-school weeks are busy, so keep stock and shipping information up to date.

How to list: catalogue first, no duplicates

Isokorigari keeps one master catalogue. Popular items like branded pens, exercise books and diapers are often already there. Always:

1. Search the catalogue and the website before creating a product. Match the name, brand, model, size and product identifier (for books, the same title and edition).
2. If it exists, do not create it again. Open it and add it to your store with your own selling details: price, stock, minimum order quantity, condition, SKU, delivery/shipping profile, warranty, return information, and your own description notes if allowed.
3. Your offer appears on your shop page and in the marketplace under the existing category, in the "more sellers" offers, never as a duplicate.
4. If it does not exist, create or request a new product. The admin team reviews it.
5. Send a Category Request or Brand Request when something is missing.

Retail and wholesale

All products have a minimum order quantity, and many have wholesale (bulk) prices. A parent buys one school bag; a school buys hundreds of exercise books; a small shop in a district town buys cartons to resell. Set retail and wholesale prices for each. Schools and offices can use the "Request for Quote" (RFQ) button to ask for bulk quotes. Coupons such as BULK5 for big B2B orders, or seasonal codes, may also apply (conditions apply and may change).

Ideas to sell more

• Create school kits (bag, books, pens, math set) and mark them with the Combo Deal ribbon.
• Think "frequently bought together": uniforms with shoes, story books with crayons.
• Use the New and Bestseller ribbons for popular toys.
• Prepare stock early before each school term.

Your seller journey

1. Register at /seller and fill in your business details.
2. Wait for admin approval.
3. Set up your shop: name, logo, banner, description, policies, shipping profile, payment/payout details.
4. Add products, catalogue first.
5. Receive orders in your seller dashboard; confirm, pack, ship, then mark shipped or delivered.
6. Earnings go to your seller wallet, minus the marketplace commission set in the Seller Policy (see your seller dashboard). Request your payout.
